About me

I like to refer to myself as a recovering journalist.

After 20-plus years as a online and print journalist at The Boston Globe, Hearst Television, The Nashua Telegraph, Foster’s Daily Democrat, and my hometown Derry News, I made the leap into the world of marketing.

You could say there was an urgency to earn more money so I could send my two talented daughters, Emma and Beth, to college, but really I was worn out after a gut-wrenching 2016 presidential election.

Since then, I’ve earned my living telling stories about people and technology.

For my third act, I’m adding movie and television screenwriting, and public speaking to my repertoire.

A lifelong New Hampshire resident, I married my college sweetheart, Dana, after we both graduated from Northeastern University in Boston.

I am passionate about politics, music, movies, television, literature, and all things Disney.

You’d be hard pressed to find a bigger fan of the band Rush, “The West Wing,” Kurt Vonnegut Jr., college hockey, turkey burgers, and Jon Stewart.
